David is DropFire's networking and security specialist. His 15 year technology career began at the MIT Media Lab where he assisted in the research of the Advanced Human Interface Group. He then joined Prolifics, Inc. (a JYACC company), where his responsibilities included IS integration, GUI prototyping, systems/network administration, RDBMS application development, and software engineering on distributed OLTP products. David then took on a software development role at Primeon, Inc., formerly Millennium Technologies Group. At Primeon, he worked on a Y2K defect identification and remediation tool. In 1998, David came back to the Media Lab as a full time Systems/Network Engineer, managing a heterogeneous network, Unix servers, PC, Unix & Macintosh workstations, and monitored and addressed security frameworks. David studied Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
