A workflow engine at the core of BLAZE™ 2.0, is fed with rules and conditionals based on standard operating procedures and resources. This engine functions both at a region-wide and an individual level to help facilitate all the activities that need to occur in response to a particular incident. At the regional level, it helps coordinate resources and response activities for an incident. At an individual level, it helps organize and schedule the tasks that an individual needs to perform and serves as a guideline to verify that all necessary steps are taken.
